Suggest you 'start the gathering' when you have the NOA-2 in hand.

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

The NBI clearance is released after 2 weeks and is good for one year so start it now.start gathering pics and letters too. It's better to start early. You need to start gathering your financial docs too. Good luck!!

I started gathering things(original birth certificate, passport photos, passport) right after we sent our I-129F, and I will be gettin the police certificate asap (after NOA2) and then translate everything the embassy asks you to.

So that's the best way to go from my point of view cause I'll only have my medical exam left to get... should take about a week or so.

Good luck!

30 K/ year is just great! I think they min. they require is 15 k! :) so you don't need a co-sponsor.

I don't think you need to start now, my fiancé started after we got our NOA2

Best of luck!!!!

Contact me if you need anything :)

Your income level is good enough. You need to contact the IRS and order tax transcripts for the past 3 years, collect pay stubs starting now, gather your W-2s, and ask your boss or human resources person for a letter verifying your employment--this letter should be on company letterhead and specify your position, your salary, and when you started working there. You can also get a bank statement showing how long you've had your account and how much you've got. Try to get as many of these things as you can for the I-134, read the instructions for the I-134, and read the guides here. There's a checklist of what you need to put together at this stage.

Read the guides carefully.

ok...petition approved....at long last...now how long until I get my interview?

I have read posts from last year but there has been a change in migrating law early this year...so anyone from Oz out there at my stage????

I think I'm 1 day ahead of you for getting NOA2... I have already started getting everything together, got the police certificate, went for the medical yesterday, have the I-134 ready to go. I think once you send everything back to the Sydney consulate it's averaging out to be a few weeks to your interview: always on a Tuesday.

Thank you

i suggest you start gettin everything ready now, if she dosent have her passport, the new ones, she should now start to get the requirments for that other then she my have to travel to diffrent places to get the docs, my fiancee in phil have a very hard time gettin her things, remember they are a third world country and they process very very very slow, not electronoly like we do, i advise you to get online, their is alot of things you can now order online for her, such as her CENOMAR and Birth certificate thru the NSO webpage, or else she would we be there all day and maybe next till her number comes up, see what all ya need, i mean all need and start NOW, you maybe in some luck and maybe faster then others, luck to all the Love couples here
