Hi everyone,

I've been waiting for my green card for 2 months now... anyone in the same shoe as I am??? I thought it only takes 1 month after CSC transfer... I guess I'm wrong. Does anyone know why it's taking so long??

Thank you.

We filed the end of January, got transferred mid-February and are still waiting. It's frustrating when people who filed in March are being approved, but I don't think we're alone. I had thought the transfer meant faster too, but it turn out it is more likely just no interview. I noticed someone from our area who filed around the time we did already had their interview and was approved.

My case was transferred 2 months ago and still no touch, nothing :( I don't think they would send a notification of "case resumed processing" etc, unless you receive an RFE. I wonder how long this wait is gonna be :(

We filed in the beginning of February and was transferred to CSC about a month or so after that. We are still waiting to hear from CSC about my husband green card. Due to the RFE that we recieved for the medical, we contacted a congressman. Well the congressman office contacted me in April to let me know that CSC still had our cases and it was within progressing time and that they were processing cases that were filed five months ago. That would have put them in NOV/DEC filers. I have no clue how CSC go about approving applicants. There have been some people who were approved from March , that I know of, that was CSC transferees.

Well, your husband and I are in the same boat. I contacted the congressman here for my medical as well and my case was transferred to CSC then. I filed mine in the beginning of February. I was lucky to get my EAD end of March/early April. I guess it all depends on luck on when we would get our green card. I just wish it's sooner!!

We sent our package January 15th, I had my biometrics in mid-February and since then, absolutely nothing. I checked a couple of times on their website, says still processing, called once, got the same answer and it's getting frustrating. The worst part is that I can't get my driver's license because they need my I-776 and I didn't file for EAD separately. I talked to some people and saw some timelines, it took them like a month or maximum 2 months to get their GC, so I thought I would be as lucky... :( But no... it's been 4 months without any notification, results, nothing. And they wouldn't accept my NOA2...

I don't know if I should file for EAD and AP separately and how the procedure goes... I can't even find it on this website here, so basically I'm just frustrated, unable to leave the house without my husband, unable to travel or get a job.

If anyone has any info on how to file separately for EAD and AP or has a link to a helpful thread, please feel free to email me. Thank you everyone and may you all have a speedy process. :)

LOL, I like you idea about the shirt. I managed to get my social security, they only asked for my I-94 from my passport. But without a license, I can tell you - feels like having shackles. I'm hating it and I think I can't drive anymore, after 8 months without a car. :crying:
