The RFE specifically asked for photos of you together as part of the proof-of-relationship thing? Or are you talking about the passport photos of the two of you (taken individually, of course) ?

no they asked for 2 pictures of us together in the last 2 years with dates on them...

so do I just make up approxiamte dates?

yeah, I guess that's all you can do unless you have some sort of time-stamping capability (digital or otherwise) that can provide a definite date.

As for them specifically asking for photos....did you previously send in other photos without dates, and now they want them to be dated? Or did you omit the photos completely before?

we sent in pictures but they had no dates, so My fiance (THE USC) said they just asked for 2 pictures of us with dates.

Oh and also he said that they asked him to fill out the G325A for and for HIM to sign it. so does that mean they only want his biographical info?

If you're not sure about the dates and if the pictures weren't dated when you developed/printed them, 'guess' an approximate date and take joone745's advice, if you took digital pictures:

If your picture was taken using a digital camera then you can go to either ofoto.com or shutterfly.com. You can also go to your nearest Walgreens store to have it printed with the dates.

There is no requirement for you to provide date on photos of the two of you together. The proof that you have both met in the past two years will come from other sources such as airline tickets etc. However, the passport photos should have a name and date written on the back.

Oooooohh ok..... so the USC fills out the same exact forms and ignores the question about the alien registration number ..i guess

Take a look through the guides - there are very clear examples for these forms. Since normally neither the USC or the foreign fiance have an A number at this point in the game, you need to write "NONE" in the box.

If he did not provide the necessary G325A biographic forms with signature in the original packet and this is what the RFE asked for, that's what he needs to do.

Apparently, yes. He must have forgotten to send G325a or he's forgotten to sign the pages.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

Ah, ok...that makes more sense on the photos.

As for the G235A...as has been mentioned, both the petitioner and the beneficiary must fill out a set of the 4-page (for the most part, identical) forms....with each individual piece of paper having an original signature by the appropriate party. If you filled out all 4 pages with your information and signed all 4, then you should be good to go. Otherwise, you will need to do that too.

There is no requirement for you to provide date on photos of the two of you together. The proof that you have both met in the past two years will come from other sources such as airline tickets etc. However, the passport photos should have a name and date written on the back.

On initial submission, sure. However, once an RFE is issued specifically requesting the photos with dates, then I think you are pretty much committed to fulfilling that RFE, or abandoning the petition and starting over.

2. I think you're referring to the passport pictures, right? Just send one passport picture each and write the date it was taken on the back with pencil or pen.

I sent in 2 passport photos, I was sure I read that I was supposed to send two, maybe thats just on the new forms? Also, I think on my photos of us together, I sent 4, two were marked 'April 2006' and the other two were marked "July 2006" with both our names. Will I get an RFE because I didn't put the day? (I included copies of my airline tickets and hotel receipts so they could see the days of my travel).

If the RFE asks for 2 photos of you together in the past 2 years, they are not asking for passport photos at this point. Pull out 2 photos. Write the month/year on the back (add the specific day if you actually know it) and send it off . . .

Bill, if it makes you feel any better, we didn't date our pictures and got approved. Don't worry too much, trying to go back and find what you may have done wrong (I read the other thread you started today). I understand that it makes us extremely anxious when we're waiting for our NOAs, so... :hugs:.

When the petition was first filed what was originally submitted to the service center? Did you only send one G-325A comprising of 4 pages? If so, who's biographical information did it contain and who's signature was on the bottom? As has been said, two G-325A's each comprised of 4 pages needed to be submitted. One for the petitioner and one for the beneficiary. Each is the applicant on their own G-325A. What wasnt submitted the first time around needs to be done now according to the RFE.

I would check with your fiance as to the photos as it is very unusual for them to ask for a specific number of photos as evidence of having met within the required two years. It sounds to me like they are after the passport photos.
