Police say a female escort used her high-heel shoe to assault a Scottsdale hotel valet attendant, police said Wednesday.

The alleged assault happened Monday night at the Hotel Valley Ho, 6850 E. Main St., in Old Town Scottsdale.

According to Scottsdale police, Jennifer Thomas, 26, of Phoenix, walked out of the Hotel Valley Ho at about 10 p.m. and asked a valet attendant to call a cab to take her home.

The valet attendant, who was not identified, called Yellow Cab Company to request a cab.

The attendant told police officers that Thomas started rambling to herself and sat next to an elderly man and began screaming for no reason.

When the cab arrived 10-15 minutes later, the attendant said Thomas became irate and wouldn't get into the cab. The attendant said he tried to offer to call her a town car, but Thomas said she would call her own.

The attendant said Thomas made a phone call and about five minutes later, an unmarked, silver Lincoln Towne Car arrived. The attendant said she opened the car door, took off her high-heel shoes and walked over to his valet podium carrying her shoes.

He said that's when Thomas swung at his head with the shoes. According to the police report, the attendant dodged the first swing but was caught on the left side of the head with the second swing, causing him to bleed profusely.
