hello everyone... my husband and i are getting ready to file for removing conditions... we were separated for 8 months due to my stupidity... we are back together now... we don't have a lot of bills in both of our names but have other things to use like a deed and bank statements.. my question is if they call us for an interview which they might do due to the gap in our marriage, what do they do in the interview... do they separate you and ask a ton of questions like favorite foods, colors, etc.. i mean what exactly goes on... we have a legitamate marriage but are terrified of being called for an interview... i feel terrible that we were separated because of my actions... what can we do... i have worried so much about this to the point my hair has fallen out... any suggestions.. will he be automatically denied due to the 8 month gap... we need your help.. thank you so much for your time... any interview experiences will be greatly appreciated... :help::crying:

ROC interview percentage is like 5%. So, many don't have the experience.

You don't find many interview stories here in ROC forum...

By the way, how do they know your 8 months gap?

I think interviews are chosen randomly just as mentioned previously, and just send as many evidence as you have and if the marriage is legitimate you have nothing to worry about...

it asks on the form about addresses he's stayed at ... we want to be honest and put the addresses on there... if we are called for one i will post on here what they ask... maybe it will help someone else one day... :unsure:

You may well be approved without an interview, but if you are called to an interview then all you need do is be honest about that 8 month gap. Not all marriages are beds of roses and separations do occur. The important thing is that the two of you have worked through your problems and resumed the marriage, probably stronger now than it was before. Bring the evidence that you have and plan on dealing with the question about the temporary separation. I honestly don't see it as being a big deal, though. Good luck to you :)

The fact that you two decided to give your marriage a shot again after your problems is a PLUS in your case. If you're called for an interview just tell the truth. The IO will see how commited you are because you had a choice to file for divorce and file ROC alone but you decided to give your marriage a chance. I don't see why any one will deny you for that. Good luck.

Feb 2007 - K-1 filed

Dec 2007 - K-1 Visa Interview (denied), the reason: i was overstayed my previous visit in 2000-2003 (my bad)

Feb 2008 - I-601 Waiver filed

Sept 2008 - Waiver approved (K-1 Visa issued)

Jan 2009 - the Wedding Blessing & Reception (Bali, Indonesia)

Feb 2009 - Arrived in the US followed by the Civil Wedding & Reception (again:)

March 2009 - AOS filed

April 2009 - Biometric

May 2009 - EAD card in hand

Aug 27th 2009 - AOS Interview (approved, yaay)

Sept 2009- Green Card arrived in the mail...yippeeeew...(i want to sing of Your Love forever)

June 2011 - ROC filed

July 2011 - Biometric

Dec 2011 - ROC approved (Best Christmas ever, i must've been a really good girl this year :)

The wait would be unbearable but it'll be worth it. It strengthens the love, it attaches you even more to each other, it shows how your man would do whatever it takes to be with you, that he will never give up on you because he LOVES you!! All the waits, stresses, tears, heartaches, all the miserable feelings you feel along the way will be paid off once you get what you've been hoping for...oh and WITHOUT PRAYERS? will be like trying to start a fire with water, JUST WON'T WORK!

thanks everyone for their response.... and our love is very strong now... time taught us a lesson... i reflect on the time i was there with him in egypt and i think about when he was gone... omg i was so depressed... but thank God for second chances... God gave me a wonderful husband and i almost let that go... never again... to everyone on here, life is too short but love is everlasting.. when you choose love you have both... what a wonderful combination to spend with someone .. life and love.. God bless everyone on this site.. i will let everyone know how my journey goes... he wants to be a citizen one day... i love you guys... (L)(F):luv::thumbs:
