If you do DCF, is there is a way to check your case status online or by phone? I entered my case number at uscis.gov on their "Check My Case Status" page but it simply says my case can't be found.

Same problem that I have now, when I tried to enter my case number it says "case number not found". :bonk:

I'm glad to know I'm not an idiot because I'm having the exact same problem (also DCF from Canada). You would THINK that applying through what is the closest neighbour and ally to the US would be just a little easier or simpler.

Amazing to see just how the two countries are so close yet so disconnected.

Check the website of the US consulate where you filed your I-130.

Some consulates have their own system for checking a case status.

Most US Embassy (where you submitted the I-130) have a USCIS or DHS contact. Either will know status on yer casefile.

Sometimes there is a posted telephone # to call, sometimes is an email addy, sometimes is both.

Don't muck about with the IV Unit, at all.

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
