K-1 is for unmarried couples. K3 is dead so your only option is Cr-1. It's really the superior visa. It is cheaper and gets your spouse to the US as a permenant resident able to work right away.

Follow the guide that I posted on #3 of this thread, it is way easier to understand

CR-1 is the visa that will be issued upon successful completion of the interview in Montreal, it is not a form.

I've tried 2 computers in my house and neither one will open or download the form =/ !!! ughhh

I got it to work now ......I re-downloaded adobe so it works now..... so I can't fill out that form and print it out and send it only for my records......but to send it to USCIS i should print it out then fill it out then send it ....correct? Im suprised I don't have to pay for the form....just to process it.

Carefully study the CR1 visa guide and then the I-130 instructions. You have a lot of study and work to do. If you are not willing to do the homework, I suggest you hire professional help. We're here to help you with things you don't understand in the guides and instructions, not to spoon feed you through the process.

on the I-130 form it asks if I am a u.s. citizen and i am and asks by birth or naturlization and it was naturlizaion and i got a certificate and it asks for the number on it......but when I got a u.s. passport the post office asked for my certificate and said they have to send it and i don't get it back =/

That's not for you, as canadian_wife already mentioned in her first post. You cannot do that now, it is not an option for you.

Minted, the people who are replying to you here, me, Pushbrk, canadian_wife, we have already been through he immigration process. You don't think that we would tell you to apply for a CR1 visa if there was any way you would be allowed to simply have your Husband come to the U.S. and adjust status?

Anyway, you obviously want to look at all the immigration sites, perfectly understandable, most people do when they first start to investigate U.S. immigration - it's not a bad thing - however, I really don't want to have to discount everything you read on other sites, that you don't understand, because you clearly haven't read the guides here.

It also concerns me that you haven't really read the replies in this thread either - not for me, but for you, it's no wonder you are feeling overwhelmed.

So I do wish you good luck and if you do read the guides and have questions, I would be happy to help you at that point.

I have read tonss of stuff on this thread, I can't help it i get excited when I see something else too.

But I do understand that after reading and browsing around on this site...the besst option for me is the CR-1 guide.

and to file the I-130 petition and go along from there.

Welcome to VJ and the monstrous process that is U.S. immigration. Welcome to tearing-out-your-hair at times and being joyfully excited at others. It can sure be a wild ride. You are luckier than most because your spouse is in Canada and therefore, a lot closer to you and likely easier to visit than most. Some people do not see each other through the entire process....it sucks. A lot.

All the information you need is here on this site--browse the CR1/IR1 forum and read the guides multiple times...you have been given some great advice here.

About a year ago I was somewhat like you..."What do you mean my fiance just can't come over?? He's not a criminal! WHAT? EIGHT months?! of waiting??" And now we're at the end of our first phase and the end of this first tunnel looks glorious. I will never look at US immigration the same way again and I'm sure you won't either.

This question indicates you're trying to fill out forms without first studying the guide and form instructions. This is a prescription for failure and heartache. Actually DO carefully study the guide and form instructions. You're going about this backwards.
