My husband and I are wondering how long usually it takes to process the AOS?

We've sent the AOS package with the EAD and AP Packages last April 13, 2010 and until today, after a week, we didn't hear anything from them.

How long usually the process takes?

How about EAD, does it usually takes a while? How long? I'm looking forward to work to help us financially and I hope I can receive it in reasonable time line.

Hi, we are on the same boat.. We have the same filing date.. and I was checking your timeline from time to time if you were able to get the notice already. I haven't receive anything yet. Most of January filers were already approve and got their cards. I have been checking March 2010 filers too and they already have done their biometrics.

Have patience!

The processing timeline for EAD is around 2 months, and for GC 2-6 months or even more. You will receive a letter soon.

The EAD comes faster while you file that with the AOS, so you have more prospect of working first, then AOS interview etc etc, take a look at our profile, its quite typical right now, Good luck!

i signed up for email and text alerts and I received those on the 20th April, I sent it in April 14th. It should take about a week I read from those text alerts to get the NOA1's in the mail (about 2 weeks from the package arriving at Chicago). I would expect to get the physical NOA1's sometime next week I think.
