Despite a rough emotional day for me, my wonderful husband is making us couscous for dinner. Sitting hear listening to it bubble away and inhaling the deep perfumes of cumin, cinnamon, rasll hanoute, and curry sure can change your mood. We'll be stocking up on the authentic couscous spices before emigrating, whenever that may be, to share this, my new favorite dish, with all our friends and family (whom I miss terribly, hence the emotional day).

i'm mowing the yard today.

and on the subject of food, we ate at a lebanese restaurant in brazil a few weeks ago, had chawarma for the first time ever. it was pretty good stuff!

Did somebody say Cous Cous, love it. I can't make it like my mother in law, but I did find a great dish to make with cous cous. I Just add to the roaster smoked turkey, collard greens and last cous cous.

wow that was fast. good luck!! it took us over a year to get the interview and another 3 to get the greencard.
