Along with the above mentioned documents for bona-fide marriage relationship, I also sent the following documents:

1. Original receipts of the items which we purchased together. (Restaurants, theatre, etc)

2. Original receipts of the items which we purchased for each other (i.e. receipt of ring for engagement from me,receipt of ring for engagement from her, receipt of gifts from her, receipt of gifts from me)

3. Notarized copy of US Passport stamps, which shows my travel to beneficiary country (India)

4. Original gate passes of my travel to India.

I had received an RFE on my I-130 and hence submitted all the available proofs, in order to clear the RFE.

My RFE got resolved in 48 hours.

as far as paperwork proving bonified marriage... it sounds like you have a good amount... But remember that there is an interview and proof on paper yet failure to be able to answer basic questions about your husband/wife at the interview is the other part of the process... so be sure to review some of the sample questions and be able to answer them without hesitation....

That's plenty for the initial petition.

Start getting evidence for the interview. Will, life insurance, joint account, abit late to file taxes jointly unless you were married in 2009. You can ammend them then.

More communication records, snail mail letters and cards, screen shots and chats etc.

Making another trip or 2 with more pictures is a biggy.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Well I have been reading the forum and saw the thread about the age difference...and it's got me thinking(o.O scary lol)

I am 11 years older than my hubby. I am from Canada, he is a USC. We have been together since 2006, got married in Jan of this year.

We have taken many trips together -

1) Las Vegas - Feb 2007

2) Cruise to the caribbean - end of March 2008

3) 2 weeks in Germany - June 2009

4) 2 weeks in Cancun - March 2010

5) he's flown up to Canada many times, and I've flown to USA as well (all stamped in both of our passports)

Plus, I lived for 6 months at his(our) residence in WA state in 07,08 and 09 - my name has actually been added to the lease and to a bunch of the utility bills (he's in the military and deploys often - this enables me to pay the bills while he's gone). And he's named me as his power of attorney while he's deployed.

Anyway, we have ooodles of pictures from those various trips, I've met his family (and he's met mine), I've got a dependent US military ID card, etc.

In fact, we were all set to be living together cept a lawyer we paid to help us with the entire immigration thing screwed us over and did NOTHING and then quit her law firm -(yeah, it was awesome to find that out at the POE when I tried to come back in bleh). We have skype chat logs, emails, myspace messages, cell phone records that span from 2007 to present.

Sooo what I am getting to is this - do you think, in spite of our age difference, with ALL of that proof, that I will still have a "red flag" because I'm 11 years older than he is?

don't send the marriage certificate.

SEND A PHOTOCOPY.

I know gathering evidence for the I-130 is difficult when you're just married or living apart -

here's what I did for my I-130 packet (click the link, have a read? )
