awww have more patience... we will have ur NOA2 within this week for those couples with March noa1.

How much patience can a person have for crying out loud? :crying: I just want them to give me back my NOA2 - there's absolutely no reason for this, no justice, no fairness, no nothing except misery and trying to explain to my fiance every day what a great country this is, we just seem to have a little problem with immigration issues and bureaucratic paralysis. PLEASE, GIVE MY NOA2 BACK TODAY AND GET THIS SHOW BACK ON THE ROAD !!!! (Oh that's right, it expired July 31st, didn't it - that will be the next notice I get) This Saturday, August 5, marks 90 days since my fiance returned pkt 3 to the embassy in Paris. We were so close, we naively thought.:(:dead::help::protest::ranting:

Sleepless - you're right. If one more person says we should be patient I am going to throw the laptop out the window. Actually, I think I need to get off VJ for a while - my RFE wasn't put into the CSC system until July 21. And since the *ssholes are now going by RFE return date, I apparently have many weeks to go.

In a system that generally takes 6-8 weeks, we have been royally screwed (sleepless, you more than most as you know).

Please don't tell us to be patient as we watch people who applied 6 weeks ago get their approvals while we have been waiting 4+ months. ggrrrrrrrrrr

Okay, since us March NOA1'ers are on a rampage this morning, how about this for frustration with our government's management of immigration: My fiancee is Filipina and I'm a member of the Air Force, have served for 16 years, and I'm watching April, May and June NOA1s for Russian and Iraqi fiancees get NOA2 before us! Not suggesting that those Russian and Iraqi fiancee are anything but wonderful people on this same pain in the ### journey, but I would expect, due to the past and present issues we've had with their governments, that a fiancee visa for someone from the Philippines would take a little less effort on review.

Oh well, there's my two cents - summation: Irritated and cranky just like the rest of you that have to wait far longer than we should.

Next time, I'll get on my soapbox about the millions of illegal immigrants that don't follow the rules yet are already here among us.

Peace...out!

Nothing going on here yet today either.

I certainly would not tell you guys to be patient, in Williams case I probably would have wiped CSC off the map by now.

Kitkat, give me your address before you toss that laptop out the window, I could use another one :P

I spent yesterday moving into my new temporary waiting-for-the-visa digs. There are spiders.

I hope you March folks get some news soon!! Recalled folks too. I think it is outrageous that you have heard nothing.

I realize that there are people on this forum who have been separated from their loved ones for a long time, due to the countries they come from, security checks etc. So overall, I am pretty lucky I guess.

Don't get me wrong, I am still grumbling in general and throwing little pity parties for myself, just trying to be more positive and thankful today and maybe feel happier overall.

I don't know how long it will last. Maybe til the next NOA2 announcement!

What kind of happy pills are you taking? Can you send some my way? I cannot sleep without Ambien. I can't even get myself to the gym to workout some of this stress. My skin is breaking out. I am incredibly bitchy and snappy. I want to march into the office of the director of CSC and give her one huge piece of my mind. I cannot even call my senator's office contact and b*tch and moan because I know she has nothing to tell me. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

(((kitkat))) Sorry. No happy pills here. I am still an insufferable pain in the ### to all around me. But I got about 3 hours of sleep last night, and my skin is breaking out and my hair is falling out and I am fighting with my SO and almost want to call it quits because I feel like he is unfazed while I am the one giving everything up and starting to feel resentful by his self centered "it's the government, you can't rush it, we both have other things to focus on in the meantime" talk and... and... and... I just figured that I had to ease up and try to take it in stride somehow, or at least tell myself to and maybe eventually start feeling it. Or be bald and pimply and have big giant bags under my eyes and be alone with with my anger.

VJ should start a new "Mad as hell and not going to take it anymore" forum. I feel your pain. For us recall folks, one of the worst things is knowing that they approved our petitions the first time in less than a month (in may case in 8 days!), which just goes to show that when they want to get these things done they can.

It's a good idea - but I can't seem to find a way to ease up today

At least the image made me laugh . . . I guess you can spot all the K1 prisoners on the street because that's what we all look like at this point!!!

Lisa and I have reached the point where we are seriously considering withdrawing from civilization.

NOT GOING TO WITHDRAW PETITION FOR GODS SAKE. But once she is home with me, seriously talking about saying the hell with it and finding remote place in mountains and say goodbye to civilization. Every government agency, every congressman/senator, that we have had to deal with in the last few months are seriously in the need of customer satisfaction training.

To say that we are pissed, frustrated, angry, and absolutely nuts over all this would be the understatement of the century!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can I join in the rant thread? Oh well, whats the point! I am way past ranting and have slid straight to depression. I wish the director of the CSC could spend one day in my shoes. But that would be cruel and unusual punishment!
