hey guys just one quick question i got an e-mail today that they send my EAD but on the status it says "On June 29, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION"so that means that they send it today (when they send the e-mail or yesterday(the date on the website)?

if someone had the same situation please let me know.;)

Usually it's the date on the notice (so yesterday). Congrats on your EAD being approved! :dance:

On another note: Wow, their is ABSOLUTELY no way to predict what USCIS is doing... You (and I'm in no way upset) sent your application in May, had an RFE and still received your EAD before MP0009 did... We are all in the NYC area (MP0009, yourself, myself), you'd think that things would flow relatively the same for all of us. It's really strange how they work.

Well, Felipe23 was an early May filer and you (from what I can tell from your time line) a late April filer, there are not more than a few days difference. Did all of you expedite your EAD's? That is why Felipe23 is receiving his so early, he is the only May filer who got card production for EAD (as I know of). But you're right there is no way to figure out how they are thinking or what they are doing at USCIS. I wish we could place a hidden camera there for a day just to find out :)

Ok guys so here what happened today,

Our appointment was at 11am, we left our place around 8:30am hitting to Milwaukee. Arrived to the USCIS around 10:45. Checked in took all our belongings for that check. Then we went upstairs droped our letter through something like mailbox and waited for 25mins when an immigration officer came out calling my name. I was already prepared with a lot evidences and stuff that we share together. Carried these things and went towards her with my wife she took as to her office and before we sit down she made us swear to say the truth and then we sat down. She wasn't nice at all when she first saw us. Then she started asking questions. Actually she started with my wife the USC. My wife was kind of nervous, so she was answering the questions very fast it was funny and I felt bad that she is really stressed out as she felt that the IO is quizing her in everything. She asked her for Name birth date if married before if has any kids if applied for someone else before. Then my turn came and I wasn't that much stressed actually but I was kind silly when she asked me what is your birth date I said July 15 1989 instead of 1985 then she looked at me and said 89?! I got confused LOL and then my wife said 85 then I said oh yeah 85,,, hahaha silly

then she started asking that bunch of stupid questions about having weapons, other wife, fraud and a lot of other questions which answers were all NO,NO, NO & NO!!! then she said how did you know each other, we said actually online ( thanks mama internet for giving such a wife :) ) she asked on what website and what is that web for? stuff like that, then when did you meet in person,, then she said do you have pictures we said yes, gave her the Album we had more than 100pics :D my wife loves taking pics all the time. after she went through this album she was convinced that this is a real marriage as we are doing a lot of things in different occasions with the family and by ourselves.

We had also wedding cards bank account together and other stuff she didn't ask about anything else and told me that I'm gonna receive my card in couple of weeks and then started telling what is conditional GC is. What is funny is after we left I told my wife that she was starring at my wedding band and she said oh that what she was doing with my wedding ring too!! so maybe they have their way of making sure that these people are really married couple and this is one of the tricks LOL,, so don't forget putting your jewelery on guys :)

actually I gave you almost every question we were asked but guess what, all this didn't take more than 10 mins and we were out of there right away.

All my brothers and sisters on VJ... all my April filers buddies, i got approved on the spot during a 10 min interview. I'll be back to give out the story in a few hourrs. My wifey and I are celebrating like crazy. It's been a wild day since 6am. Praise to Allah.

What is funny is after we left I told my wife that she was starring at my wedding band and she said oh that what she was doing with my wedding ring too!! so maybe they have their way of making sure that these people are really married couple and this is one of the tricks LOL,, so don't forget putting your jewelery on guys :)

I JUST said this to hubby... We wanted to get my ring cleant but when we went back to the jewelry store, they said it could take up to 3 weeks to be finished :angry: And that was a week ago so we decided not to take the chance.
