Your checks were cashed 6 business days after mine. So if it were exactly the same, your EAD would be processed July 1. So yeah, I think the VJ timeline suggestion is good, you should be getting the touch any day now! Let's hope!

OoOoO im getting excited!!! I really really hope it is within the processing times, that would mean i could get a ss number soon!! and get a good job !!

its hard 2 get anything without ss, not to mention people who do take you usually take advantage of that fact meaning pay u less than minimum wage and make u do twice the work, and when u work physically it is very draining and tiring!

I cant wait!! cuz life is HARD!

WOW ALLA thats alot of evidence. Well with the overstay i think u will be fine, but with the previous marriage i guess might be iffy? but u didnt apply for AOS with that person right?

I know a guy, he married applied for AOS but things didnt work out so her gt divorced, and just didnt go to biometrics and abandonded the AOS.

Now he met another grl and plans to get married again and apply for AOS again... now that would look suspicious 2 me.

I dont know who, but someone who was an overstay mentioned something about the officer saying something that ohh well if u were just marrying for papers I guess u would do it sooner than waiting like 6 years... guess that makes sense right?

as i mentioned earlier i have

2009 IRS Joint tax return, cable bill, bank statement, union card where i am the beneficiary, a picture album

I guess i could also take our wedding/engagement rings receipts appraisal its for over 5K so I think thats good proof. I think the email/telephone records are not necessary. but thats me.

Especially since I think there are no USCIS red flags in why we are together, meaning no big age difference, same home country, really no big differences, no criminal offenses, havent filled AOS before... cant think of any more red flags..

pre-marital counseling forms

Pictures

wedding cards from friends and family.

honeymoon reciept from hotel

Letter from my parents

Legally changed my last name

Pregnant...lol at almost 15 for interview I will be showing a little and have ultrasound pics.

I have some love notes and stuff, but that is none of their business. I draw the line on our intamacy and inside humor between us.

Also we have no Credit cards or anything like that. Only debt I have is my car which I bought 3 years ago and the last payment is in October 2010, so I can't show joint ownership of that :/

No, I didn't apply for AOS with my previous marriage.

I know it always look suspicious... that's why me and Christine are worrying more than others...

My situation is scary. So I need lots of prayers. I was in INS before with a man who did use me, I found out through my IMAM when my ex told him this. One his paper was approved, his behavior was appauling. He never came home, never spent time with me or my kids. I physically became ill due to stress. Now I am so in love with an amazing man, and I know I am in for a hell of a fight. But I don't care, they can search up and down till the cows come home! Our love is real. If they would deny him, then I'll move to egypt, I am not living this life without him. Sorry.. I am just so scared. That the A$$hole that played that game with me and lied could RUIN my future happiness! My children love my husband as much as I do. Everyone would be devistated.

Christine, i read somewhere that if you write to USCIS about your ex-husband using you, it will be in your favor. First, they will think twice before giving him a citizenship and second, you can show it on interview and it will mean that you are not under contract with him.

Have you thought about it?

no I have not. I was just trying to keep everything easy, that man did enough to my family and kids. I never intended to remarry. Especially in this situation. Imam Atif told Walaa he would write a letter stating what Majed had told him. Maybe I will get that and try to figure out what is best. Sigh.. I just don't know and now as interview is coming closer I am getting more scared. I have Emails and stuff from him where I confront him using me.. of course he dance around it and says if I wanted I could use you a million times and you would be happy for it.. (JERK) Also the one where I threaten to call the police if he does not stop contacting me.

ohh ur timeline makes me feel better, i mean cuz u filled earlier than me and u just got ur EAD, did u expedite ur EAD? Yea it is true that for everything now you need a SS number, only reason i have so much is cuz both me and him have been in the US for over 5 yrs now so had time to get some bills etc cuz a couple of yrs back u didnt need a ss to open an account credit card etc... its still hard, just bring what you can and i think you will be ok with the stuff you are gonna bring..

As for evidence I think you have PLENTY!! its not like its ur fault, wat the hell ur husband in fighting for this countrys freedom. As a army wife, i think u should get it faster and witout all this stress. Obviously ur husband cant be there to help You! i think ur doing great!! Keep it up!!

there are slighlty different procedures for u guys right? cuz u will be going to the interview alone

Hello everybody! I missed you guys... Could you look at my list, is it anything I can/need to add?

My list:

-Lease for 2 years

-Credit,debit,departments cards

-Bank statements (checking,saving,credit)

-Power,water,cable,phone bills (in both names)

-Photos (over 600 in albums)

-Temple membership

-Rings receipts (engagement,wedding)

-Tickets (visiting family and they us)

-Emails,chats

-Receipts from gifts (while dating)

-Call logs since 2008

-Husband's emergency contact from school

-Post cards,a lot (to each other and from friends,family)

-Local magazine (congratulation to us on the marriage)

We have past two years taxes filled on our address but they are not joint, as we were not married at that time. Should I include them?

I feel like I don't have enough. Don't get me wrong, I'm overstayed and has been married before, that's why I feel like they need tons of proofs.

When I was changing last name on my ss card , it took about 3 days, even though they say 30.

What about affidavit letter from your parent, his parent and friend who know about you two as a couple?
