May 11 2010 - Case transferred to CSC

Yeah BABY!! (finally got access to the case status page.. not to me logging on though.. had to enter the case number).

GGGOOOOOoooooooooooooo :dance::dance:

After 2 weeks of nothing we finally got a letter in the mail telling us to appear for our Initial Interview for I-485 on June 16th. Kinda worried and excited at the same time. Has anyone else gotten this letter yet? We just want the EAD/greencard already so hubby can work! :)

Yay you... I'd be so siked if I got ANYTHING :blush:

Well I got an update today.....

On May 13, 2010, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.

I'll take it but really surprised no action yet on the EAD and AP.

Hoping good news for everyone soon.

09/2009 - NOA 2 approved

Well I got an update today.....

Congrats! I wish I at least had the EAD BUT I'm looking at it like this... if they transferred my case without touching my EAD MAYBE that means they plan on approving my GC really soon so they can't be bothered wasting the card??!! That's my idea.. please don't burst my bubble of illusion :P

YAY!!! Are you gunna try a walk-in?

Gosh Im going back and forth about it. I called USCIS and she says "based on our reports, ASC offices don't allow walk-ins. But you could try to do that the Wednesday after your Biometrics." So I'm a little confused

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO TRY FOR A WALK-IN? WHY ARE THEY SAYING THAT OFFICES DON'T ALLOW IT?
