This why

"ever hear of post boosting? i am guilty lol" samir_shannon admitted that's what she is doing by post one word replies to just about every thread. I have no problem with people start dumb polls or OT threads about their cat and people responding how cute it is, but to purposely posting nonsense to run up your post count to pick up squares and hearts is BS.

Plus if someone new comes along and sees all her hearts and/or squares and she ever deciides to actually responds with something of substance the new person might give what she says more weight because of her squares and hearts.

i see your concern, but i would hope any reader of this forum, or any forum for that matter, would be able to tell good advice from bad. just like anywhere else. just because someone wears some kind of badge(stripes in the military, or fancy suit in a corporation or fancy title in gov't) does not automatically confer that this person knows waht he/she is talking about.

i remeber when i cam to vj... my approach was to talk to and listen to as many ppl as possible.. then i would check things out meself. did not matter the 'advice' came from a frequent poster or some luker who would pm me.
