Nik and I had lunch with a die hard Mac friend of ours last weekend, so naturally the iPad came up. Turns out that since it doesn't "do" flash, or multi-task, my favorite activity (watching Hulu while playing Farmville) would not work. :( He spent a lot of time trying to tell us about how ick Flash was and how right Apple was to not put it on the iPad etc. I don't think anyone convinced anyone else. :)

Mac fanatics are quite funny. I personally don't get it, but to each his own. They love to think that macs are the be all end all in computing. Sorry, they are overpriced, and underperforming. You are in essence buying a maseratti with a kia engine.

I answered desktop because that's what I'm using right now.

We have an HP desktop and I recently bought a Toshiba laptop for school/personal use. I liked the portability of a netbook but was told that it's not worth it and to not buy anything smaller than 13" and I'm glad I listened. My new laptop is the perfect size, yet is 4GB.

I also have an old Dell laptop we rarely use and I use a Dell laptop for work. Hubby is going to get a laptop soon since he bought DJ equipment and needs something he can carry around with him. I think we'll go with an Acer.
