I am a US citizen and I would like to bring my grandmother to US for a visit from Iran, I have not seen her for 19 years and she is not getting any younger and I can not go to Iran. But there is no US embassy in Iran, how can I get her a visitor visa?????

02/26/09 - Got the Oath letter

03/13/09 - Oath Ceremony (all done)

She applies for a visa, not you.

As there is no Consulate in Iran, she would need to go somewhere where there is. That would depend on which was most convenient and would accept her application.

I understand your frustration. She will have to travel to either Ankara or the other place that does Iran visa's (can't remember which it is now). Chances of her obtaining a visitor's visa is very, very slim.
