Our oath letter stated specifically not to wear jeans, maybe they changed that in the last year.

Yeah, mine stated the same about wearing jeans. Guess I will be all business casual for a change when I take my oath.

Good luck,

Rebecca.

It's a big day, dress like it is...

IMHO.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

Still can wear the heels,a blouse, and blazer, just leave the jeans at home. That would attract attention.

Business casual - or what you might wear for a job interview - would be appropriate. They do request no jeans and I seem to recall reading here about one individual who showed up for his oath ceremony wearing jeans and they sent him home to change before they would allow him to participate.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Funny that they don't allow jeans, since it's such an American piece of clothing! :)
