I just paid my IV bill...and paid my AOS bill earlier this morning. I hope we make it for a May interview too, this process is just too much work and its busting my piggy bank too. Hope my hunnie across the ocean mails me the papers soon, I got my part done.

hmmm.... I see plenty of VJers getting the IV bill very soon after their DS3032 is accepted. I got an email yesterday saying that our "agent of choice" was accepted and that "The Immigrant Visa

Application (DS 230) processing fee bill will be sent to the designated agent on the case. "

How long does it take to recieve IV bill via email? Should I hit em up on monday perhaps? I hope they're not sending it via snail mail. I did tell them to send all forms through email.

To top it all off... My right eye lid is flickering for the past day. Good omen or bad?

Try putting your case # in their payment portal and see if the bills are available to be paid - if they are - don't bother waiting for an email

And sorry about your eyelid - get more sleep!

Question: I'm working on sending in the DS230 paperwork and I only have one Marriage Certificate and can't get a certified copy at this time (we were married in another country and neither of us is there). Has anyone had their original documents lost (personally) and does anyone have any tips?

If at all possible, avoid sending in your only copy - try consulate or embassy. You need marriage certs for everything! If you got married in another country was the marriage registered in either of the home countries? (i.e. we were married in Mauritius, but registered the wedding with the Italian Consulate, so we can get marriage certificates from Mauritius or Italy).
