I've been the joyous recipient of a bombardment of calls from a young woman whom I don't know, but apparently she knows me (by first and last name).

The caller ID on my iPhone says "blocked".

The woman keeps saying she misses "F---ing Me" and I told her that she could go F--- a hydraulic jackhammer and die.

I just quit smoking, and am a very pissed off person, and AT&T customer service is closed. So FML.

Other than turning my phone off, or calling the boys in blue, what options do I have to stop the calls?

Anyone know of any option to permanetely block private/blocked numbers? I can get an app to pick a booger from a nose, but apparently I can't get an app that blocks stalker scum. It's BS.

That sucks. I'm thinking that this person knows you and probably won't stop even if you change your number. I'd arrange for a meeting (with my wife's full knowledge of course) and then confront the person.

I don't know why the clowns don't allow us to block anonymous calls on cell phones. Nonetheless, the only thing I can think of is setting up a call diversion (when busy) to some silly number, then hit reject when such calls come through. Hopefully the idiot will get the message.

AT&T would definitely have the person's number in their system. Even when someone blocks their number, it's still transmitted within the system, just flagged not to be displayed.

I had to change my number via ATT because of a similar problem. Trust me: it is WORTH the hassle and $36 (It costs $36 at the time I changed my number).

I found what you need. I remembered that I used this a while back to test it out and it works pretty well. Actually couldn't believe it was legal as such tools would not be in AUS. You know government privacy and all..
