The form here: http://www.visajourney.com/examples/INS-Form-I-131.pdf from the example forms has an error. It is listed as an AP document and yet on page 2, Part 3 question 5 has been marked even though just under Q3 of the same section states AP document people are to proceed to Part 7. I thought that might confuse some people so if the form can be fixed that'd be awesome :D

Also, I think it would be beneficial if the example form had "unknown" as the date and length of trip so those of us that want it for an emergency don't think a date is "required". There was a post recently where a girl suggested just "making up a date" because she thought that a date had to be there.

Thanks in advance :)

The box was unchecked (was not critical, but like you said is more clear unchecked). The date I left for now. I am open to feedback on if another answer like you mentioned is appropriate to note :).

I'm just going to throw this in here since I don't want to start a new thread :)

In the DCF instructions here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...om&page=dcf

Item 5 has a significant typo:

5- The foreign spouse can not legally enter the US. At the Port of Entry they will have their Visa/Passport stamped indicating their legal status in the US. Their status is now that of a US Legal Permanent Resident. Within a few weeks an official Permanent Residence Card (Green Card) will arrive in the mail. Additionally, if on the visa application DS-230 II you applied for the Social Security number your Social Security Card will be mailed to you within a month of entering the US. If you did not apply for the SSN on your visa application you can visit your local Social Security Agency to apply for one. Make sure to being your passport/Visa and Green Card if you have received it.

I believe it should read - The foreign spouse can now legally enter the US

Also in the last line it should be "bring" your passport, rather than being your passport.
