Guys, it is such a curious moment about experience you had with your VJ timeline. Could you please tell us how reliable it was and how close it was to your NOA2 dates? We are trying to figure out if we can trust it to at least 60%. We are all well aware of how long this whole process might be, but it would be nice and useful to hear about it from YOU who already have so much wanted NOA2!

Your personal experience is much appreciated! :star:

Put it this way, I wouldn't commit any money to the dates it says.

Service Center : Vermont Service Center

Consulate : London, United Kingdom

I-129F Sent : 2009-11-16

I-129F NOA1 : 2009-11-19

I-129F NOA2 : 2010-03-01

NVC Received : 2010-03-06

Consulate Received : 2010-03-15

Packet 3 Received : 2010-03-15

Packet 3 Sent : 2010-03-26

Packet 4 Received : 2010-04-23

Interview Date : 2010-05-11

Interview Result : Approved

Visa Received : 2010-05-19

US Entry : 2010-06-01

Marriage : 2010-06-10

Comments : No harassment at all at POE, just advised i had 90 days to marry, took 10-15 mins for the processing to take place.

Your better off spending the time to look at individuals timelines. The statistical timelines can be way off becuase they are based soley on the members of VJ and who and how many people complete them. To many dont bother, its really annoying. Then they ask questions and you dont even know what visa they are applying or petitioning for or when.

Just FYI - in our case

Mailed NOA1 to Received NOA2 (06/15/2009 - 09/21/2009)

NOA2 to Packet 3 was 1 month (9/21/2009 - 10/19/2009)

Sent Packet 3 info (10/27/2009)

Received packet 4 (11/18/2009)

Interview (12/15/2009)

So for us it was 6 months to the day from the time I mailed out I129F petition till interview.

6/15/2009 Filed I-129F

12/15/2009 Interview (HCMC, VN)

1/16/2010 POE Detroit

3/31/2010 MARRIED !!!

11/20/2010 Filed I-485

12/23/2010 Biometrics (Buffalo, NY)

12/31/2010 I-485 Transfered to CSC

2/4/2011 Green Card received

1/7/2013 Mailed I-751 package

1/14/2013 I-751 NOA (VSC)

2/07/2013 Biometrics (Buffalo, NY)

And BernieC gives you his timeline which is for VSC and I notice you are CSC so his timeline does not correspond because of the different service centers involved.

No one really knows what percentage of total petitions filed with CSC and VSC are then reflected here on VJ. So VJ represents only a very small number of all petitions actually filed. So the average here from VJ is statistically meaningless.

From what I've seen over the years - the timelines (and projected adjudication date ranges) are pretty accurate. They do tend to fluctuate at first but stabilize as you get closer to the projected date-range. This is largely due to folks updating their timelines over time (and at first, there may not be enough timelines to base an accurate calculation on).

In general - once you get past the half-way mark, the timelines are usually pretty spot on for most folks and are certainly much better than looking at individual timelines.

My timeline fluctuated a LOT in the beginning, but then firmed up in the few weeks before we got our NOA2. We got our NOA2 about two or three weeks before our projected date.

I'm with Astrid in I think very accurate for K1. I used the historical trends one here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...ge=k1historical

Mine jumped maybe a week or so, slowed down here and there but I got my NOA2 (online) pretty much the same week it told me they were processing people with my date so I recommend it.

My timeline says i was suppose to get my NOA2 today. No such luck. Maybe tomorrow?

11/10/09 - K1 NOA1 date
4/22/10 - NOA2 mailed
7/21/10 - interview
8/27/10 - arrival in US
9/4/10 - wedding
10/2/10 - sent off AoS pack
12/27/10 - GC interview (approved)
10/09/12 - mailed application I-751
10/11/12 - NOA for I-175
