Tharnsur,

I think you're right. It won't be long now. Yay!

WaitingforHubby,

I'm thinking the binders may be too big to slip through the window. I don't know if your embassy is like the one in Bangkok, but the slots for handing over documents aren't very deep.

For us, I made binders of the three packets we sent in -- I-130 and documents, AOS and documnets, and DS-230 and documents. For the interview evidence -- pictures, phone records, receipts, cards, letters, e-mails, etc. -- I'm going to use thinner report covers. Pictures in one. Phone records in another. Written communication in another. And so on. The blue ones will be submitted at the initial document intake, while the back ones will be for Husby to submit if the official requests more evidence. A copy of all of this will be in the 4th binder. Of course, the binders are for Husby and probably won't be needed by the officer.

No, I haven't actually assembled the report cover evidence yet. If I did, what would I have to do while waiting for a case complete?

A pic-a-ture of the above. Husby is going to freak out and call as soon as he receives it. "Honey, what the heck did you just send me?!"

DSCN0428.JPG

WOW!!! you're soo organized!!! I thought i'm the only one. It's a good idea to have all those documents for "what if..." scenarios.

Your IV fee bill will show paid within 24-48 hours. Mine and others here got our cover page within 24 hours. As far as document archiving for interview, I would just scanned everything (PDF) and make into a file. For example: i130_filed.pdf, AOS_Filed.pdf, DS-230_filed.pdf. These files are exactly like the packages i sent out. The idea is to send all 3 files to your spouse/beneficiary. Your beneficiary can just print them out when s/he's preparing for the interview. I would also add some more recent evidences to show on-going relationship (email, snail mails, chat log, phone bills, tax transcripts, etc...).

I wish... there's at least 3 of us that paid monday who are still showing IN PROCESS.

Deep,

Oh, yes. I've started wondering about changing the AOS, which I've had in draft form since I got my W-2s and then in final form since the 20th, and having Husby send over a new DS-230 because we listed his place of residence since birth. For the evidence, I've had it ready to go since pre-NOA2 and I still ask people "What else will they accept?" It's hard not to wonder. It's our family; we want to do only the best to get us together as quickly as possible.

We will be rewarded for our trust, patience, and effort. Sachi before the rest of us since she's put in so much of all.

Dawn,

Wait until 3 and if it's still not showing, call and harass them? The site says 2-3 days. Good luck, hon.

I don't even know what to do - they're not acknowledging that there is even a problem! I'm so frustrated...

I am still waiting for them to accept my husband's DS-3032, so I can pay the IV bill! We are going electronic, supposed to be faster. Bleh. Called today, and was told they are backlogged - he emailed it on 02/22. Again I say Bleh. Will call and try to talk to a human Monday. That gives them 10 plus business days to have gotten the email (not counting the day of the snowstorm).

Good morning all.

I wasnt around at all yesterday- any new info? I see some are still waiting for payments to process? Wat tha!! UGH..

Sen. Udall's office made an inquiry with the congressional liason at the NVC for our case and they state they are just waiting for the DS 230- the fated DS230. Maybe their inquiry will red mark our file, or who knows... I did get a CHECKLIST email from the NVC yesterday, asking for the DS230. Still waiting for that RFE.

Huge fight with hubby too. I think its just both us stressed out about this process. He says its like the only thing we talk about, but JEEZ. It is!

Anyway.. crossed fingers for all today.
