MsS--Yes, a photocopy of his US passport. I'll get a copy of the 2009 W2s.

Ok, so if my joint sponsor's wife does fill out a I864A--what will she need? The joint tax stuff have already been sent in--so her W2s, proof of citizenship and their marriage certificate? Anything else? I'd like no other hiccups.

Husband has gone through his package and has a copy of everything should the RFE be on his end.

Joint sponsor is unwilling to preempt it and wants the email RFE before he fills any forms or gets any documents.

Send in the I-864 when the onliine portal has marked it 'paid'.

you can send the DS-230 and I-864 in together, you betcha - but I'd wait until there is 'paid notice' on the online payment portal, as well, for the ds-230.

eems like most people are sending the 864 and 230 together - i disagree, but perhaps is new trend, so to do..

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

actually the wife would not fill anything out unless she is co-sponsoring you guys as well but your co-sponsor would fill out the I-864A if he is a part of your SO household and he has to make sure that he counts his wife as a part of his household a lot of time people miss count  and its normal for them to want proof that it is needed because most of the time they don't really understand the process and or they don't have the same sense of urgency as you would but i would call NVC tomorrow to see what they need and hopefully its a false RFE  also there are time when everything's right but NVC lost something

Hey guys!

I'll be here for march to, kinda...

All the fees are paid and hubby is sending both the 230 and 864 on monday. Not like I'm in a hurry though.

Just really blows that we made it so far, so fast, in the process and then have his deployment set for may.

Oh well, I'll be so ready to go over when he gets back in december!

I hope all of you get through NVC real fast!

And Sach - I'm crossing my fingers that it's a false RFE you got, crossing them real hard!
