Airline specific question mate. Talk to the airline people......You must follow their rules, which strictly follow receiving country rules.

If you're not there for 21 days, then you probably don't need a visa, but maybe while you're there something will change and you need to stay longer. You might be safer to get one.

The good news for all you helpful CR-1 folks is that HBK apparently leaves for PI in 3 months... How many questions can he possibly post in 3 months?????????? Any guesses?

given the current average rate is 10 new posts per day, times 90 (3-months)...900 posts in 3 months !!

So, I'm puzzled how someone that has a part time job and doesn't meet fiancial requirements for I134 can actually afford to take 3 weeks off from "work" and spend them in PI? I mean we're talking several thousand dollars here.

I hope this isn't typical behavior for a 20-year old USC male on the forum.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

There are no guaranteed visas. If you intend to obtain a CR1 visa for your spouse, then your country and my country are one in the same my good fellow. If you think your local immigration office will be more helpful, you're in for a rude awakening.

dude, the people here ARE helping you. in return, do your homework. this is a free site, and posters take time off to understand your post (it's a question in a non-question format) and dish out advice. and this is the first time you actually gave out gratitude--be it limited to the first 3 posters. and refrain from making discriminatory remarks, it'll do you no good given you are entering a relationship with someone from "another" country.

btw, if you're asking about travel visas to the PI, try contacting a Philippine consulate stateside because it'll take a whole day of vacation time in BI offices over there. you can get more help in the regional PI forum here on vj. advice: make a list of questions so you only have to post it once and it makes it easier on yourself and everyone else. there are a ton of guidelines on this site and government sites; read read read.

"i bet i get more support at my local immigration office"

I for one am willing to take that bet. HBK - I hope you are prepared for long lines and people who couldn't care less about your petiton, your questions or anything else for that matter.

Let me explain the way that this forum works:

1) Read the guides

2) Do your research

3) Read the guides again

4) Ask questions about anything you COULD NOT find in the guides

5) Wait for responses and ACKNOWLEDGE them before posting your next question

6) Don't get pissed if the answers you get aren't the answers you want

7) Don't argue with people who already are doing or have already done the same process you want to do - no offense, THEY know better and are taking the time out of their day to answer your questions for FREE.

8) Fill out your paperwork (or perhaps in your case - hire someone to do it for you)

9) Come back to the forum with questions you might have along the way

10) Accept answers to your questions

11) Complete your visa process

12) Start to CONTRIBUTE to the forum by answering questions from others who have less knowledge

***See how the cycle repeats itself?

Good luck.
