As of late, it can take up to 30 days to receive an NOA-1.

Why did he file both packages?

Hi. My bro sent out his I129f and I130 packet a little over a week ago to the Nebraska Service Center. He still hasn't received his NOA1. From what I remember it doesn't take that long...is there something wrong?

If he is already married, he would just need the I-130.

The I-129F is for a Fiance. Am I missing something here?

It's for a marriage visa so isn't that what he is supposed to file as one of the options when applying for a marriage visa?

If he is already married, he would just need the I-130.

The I-129F is for a Fiance. Am I missing something here?

It's for a marriage visa so isn't that what he is supposed to file as one of the options when applying for a marriage visa?

Just for your info.

He mailed them at the same time which is becoming standard practice as opposed to the prior procedure as long as they are mailed at the same time.As long as you do not send the I-129F prior to mailing the I-130 per new immigration law practices as i was told by an immigration lawyer myself. i did it myself and have received both notices of action doing so this month.I mailed mine june 30. But as protocol states, the I-130 goes to the Service center providing that states area. But the I-129F goes to Chicago,that is what I have been told by Immigration Reps at the National Service Center, and that is where I sent mine.

Then how can you send the I130 and the I129f for K3 at the same time??
