I have an urgent question, at the medical examination for K-1, is the person tested for HIV and any other diseases? Plz help me out

Those are 'specific' for the US Consulate in Guangzhou, China, but the medical forms, with little exception, are universal.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Those are 'specific' for the US Consulate in Guangzhou, China, but the medical forms, with little exception, are universal.

I doubt the tests have changed but in the past few months HIV/AIDS has been taken off the list of deseases that will get the visa denied.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

but if you are tested positive, they would inform you in the interview right? Or would they just say nothing? because eventhough i was approved they never mentioned my medical exam

It's very rare that the results of the medical exam will become a topic during the interview. :star: I don't think you have HIV, after all, you passed the interview. The change has just been done recently. No need to fret.

Agreed, the medical doctor will discuss this with the petitioner but nothing will be said about it at the interview.

Yes, your doctor should have given you a copy of the results and discussed them with you. If something was wrong they definitly will let you know, they have to.

Dec. 5, 2011 (Monday) - Is the date when I can apply for Removal of Conditions
