PS Off to the Olympic peninsula for a party with another sister. Here's to a great game! Both teams are class acts so it should be a good one.

Hopefully my tears later will be ones of joy! See y'all!

My wife is rooting for the Saints. I'm in the Colts corner. Should make for an interesting evening of tossing pillows at each other on the sofa.

We'll be eating a Thai menu (she's busy cooking right now, while I'm goofing off on VJ), and there's lots of good beer in the fridge - 5 assorted microbrews. Party time!

Mmmm....

It's hard not to pull for the Saints.

I'll be making pizza & drinking heavily.

Yay!

Here's a little something to make you homesick, jundp. It's a little long, but there are some beautiful images, and the second tune is worth waiting for.

Bless you boys.

Indeed. He's something of a whack job, but we'll miss him just the same.

Normally I couldn't care less or even realize when the Superbowl was happening, but this year my work will basically shut down if the Colts win... so I have an agenda. :)

If you were working in New Orleans, chances are you'd have the day off tomorrow regardless. Unfortunately, I do not work in New Orleans. But if we win, and maybe even if we don't, I expect half empty classes tomorrow. As for us teachers, we've been warned. There are no more subs available for tomorrow.

Have you heard any rumors about who they might try to get in the off season?

No, but I admit I haven't read too much about the Cards since the season ended.

No day off, but we have a one-hour delay with staying 30 minutes late. I am hoping no one shows up because then I will have a beautiful, quiet day.
