At least this thread is not 5 pages back now. We are "moving on up" in the world. Sent "our" application in yesterday. Now time to grab a bag of chips, sit on the couch, and wait. I have to laugh at my Viktoriya. She can't believe how long the process takes. She asks if there is anyone that I can "talk to" (grease their palm) and make it go faster. This is not Ukraine. Our goverment beauracracy is just as messed up as hers. The only difference, no bribes. This is going to be a boring thread if there are only 5 of us. Wait, less applications, means faster approvals. I can live with that.

Hi, i'm a November filer. passed the 3.5 month waiting line ^^, no NOA2 sighted for the moment.

VJ members represent less then 5% of the number of K1 filed to VSC.

I wont suggest that u sit in your corner, and drink ur misery away. Come share your frustration with your "new family". They will be here to cheer you up.

The waiting is long and hurtful (for the truthful filers), but you are not alone, others feel the same way, and will post here asking for compassion and for a shoulder to cry on.

I will end my intrusion in your February thread by wishing you all a good luck in your journey, hoping that you wouldn't have to wait for your NOA2 more then I will, and hoping that VSC won't just decide to skip your month with no reason and work on the next month (just like they did with us).

Good luck to all !!!

Let me introduce myself ..(forgive my English mistakes lolll)..

I am ILANA (Brazil) and Larry (USA) also February filers!

I am crossing fingers..praying we all will get our Visas faster than we expect!!!

Quick 2 questions..starting to panic a bit..

1-Since my fiance paid for with money order how can we find out the process number??

2-We are both divorced..my decree was sent ok officially translated with all the stamps required..my fiance´s divorce certificate looks like a book!!!..but no stamps on the last page but including the judges signature ...

Do you guys know if we may have problems???

Hugs to all my new friends!

Ilana

Heyas! Joey (American) and I (Canadian) are also February filers!

Good luck to everyone. We're super anxious ourselves :)

Quick question, would anyone know what forms I should begin to gather while we're waiting for the NOA's to bounce around? From what I've read so far (here and there) I'll need to have my police check and an extended birth certificate (not the typical wallet sized one). Any others I should be prepared to gather?

Thanks!!

Ilana, a mod should come by soon and clear that up for you. No worries. On Joey's divorce decree there is an official seal with the appropriate signatures. Perhaps the signatures of the proceeding judge will be effective enough if there is no seal or stamp on his.

I read one of our posts where someone said that according to IGOR's list there are 51 petitions from VSC for Feb? What exactly is IGOR's list, what does it tell/do for us and where can I find said list? I'm curious >.<

Thanks Sundrop! I feel silly with so many posts..lollll

Its great to know we are not alone..

February is almost ending and not so many fillers..

I was wondering why some people get the NOA2 so much earlier than the others..

First I was thinking that maybe it had to do with some specific countries but I was wrong..there is no connection..

Think its just luck to find a good soul at USCIS..

Warm hugs from Brazil

Ilana

It's because you haven't filled in your timeline. Igor's list is an internal VJ thing. Go to 'immigration timelines' at the top, look on the left where it says 'timeline functions' and do 'add/edit my entry'. Each time you do something in the process (send it off, receive your NOA1 and 2, get an RFE or whatever) you put the date in your timeline. This allows others to gauge what's happening, what to expect compared to others from the same countries, processing centers etc.

LOL you edited just as I clicked reply, so you figured it out yourself :)

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
