If you go to the website (where you paid the fees) you can click on the print cover sheet button and print the cover sheet. Send that in with your 864 documents... (unless the electronic processing has a different procedure??)

how did you pay ?

there is online payment portal for fee payments to NVC - are you using that ?

IF You are not using that, then you need to wait for a receipt to arrive via postal mail.

if you ARE using the online payment portal, then you need to get the receipt, and print it, include it with the I-864.

please clarify - how did you pay?

Usually - there is (for I-864 and DS-230 ) -

1. a barcode sheet and

2. a receipt of payment

Unless something has changed drastically in the last week - you are supposed to send the barcode sheet and the receipt of payment into NVC, along with 'the set' - in this case - the I-864 .

The DS-3032 - send it in, now. There are parallel 'collection processes' for these documents - is nothing 'serial' ..

The DS-3032 'acceptance' takes some time, as well, but doesn't hold up other 'collection processes'.

Towards the end of the NVC Process, that DS-3032 will be checked - before you get a 'case complete' at NVC.

I say - have yer wife send in the DS-3032 - and YOU - if you have the RECEIPT of payment for the I-864 - SEND IT IN NOW with the I-864, supporting documents, and that barcode thingie.

Good Luck !

You may want to read LingChe as well - see

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...he_NVC_ShortCut

it will give you a good concept and overview of the NVC process. (and the paperwork flow ).

Since you've really not sent anything OFF yet to NVC - I strongly suggest you enroll in NVC Electronic Processing.

Good Luck !

Yes, the link Darnell gave you, that is one of the ones I posted for you above.

As mentioned in the guide, you can now download the form and mail it back to NVC with the coversheet you printed off.

It is confusing, historically they used to send you a hard copy as well, so you could download it or you could mail it back once you received it/filled it out. Apparently they no longer mail you a hard copy - which is wise because who wants to wait for that.

Hi Darnell,

I paid the AOS fee online and I have everything printed, filled out and ready to send, so I also include a copy of the reciept to send in with all the forms.

Thanks

You might want to hold off a bit, for postal stuff, if you are paying electronically on the payment portal.

I am a big fan of the NVC Electronic Filing Program, and since dats a Canada-bound CR-1 - you might wanna think to send everything electronically to NVC.

For some people, though - going electronic DOES NOT MAKE SENSE for them - ie - lack of scanner, lack of software, lack of time or hard disk space -

for others, though - it is useful to 'go electronic'.

At this stage (just paid the AOS FEE) you can still opt in for Electronic Processing.

If You Want. It'll take some time to convert it to an 'electronic casefile' - but I still think - is good to do, if you can !

Warmest Regards..

hi everybody,

i've been reading and reading and my head is spinning.. so, i like most of everyone, i need hep. i'm confused and i don't want to risk a rrfe from nvc.

i just paid $400 fee at the request of nvc.

i was waiting for instructions from them but nothing for a month. i called three dif operators and they all told me to go ahead and fill i-864

and my wife ds-230.

now it's confusing since the web site says to WAIT.

next : i know seems like a stupid question: who's parents go on lines 15, 16, 17, 18? (DS-230) mine the petitioner or wife's the applicant?

also: what documents must she include with DS-230? (i read the instructions on the web site but it's bit confusing).

ps i also sent nvc a couple of emails. no answer. no wonder.

please help.

Batltazar--You've paid both bills? Yes? Print out the two barcoded coversheets for your package, put it on TOP of the package and overnight it to NVC. Go, go, go.
