Looking back...what are the main big events that happened in your life during the year 2009?

Mine:

1.) Fighting cancer

2.) Moving away from home (Philippines)

3.) Reunited with my husband (USA)

4.) Pregnancy test (Positive)

What a year!!! It started awful but ends up with something good...something to look forward for the coming year. Goodbye 2009........Hello 2010! Happy New Year everyone! :)

I trained about 400 Americans to make hits on man-sized targets out to ranges of 500 yards.

Nani became a US citizen this year. :)

Oh, and someone did me a favor a couple weeks back running into my old car that I thought of replacing anyways. Couldn't have sold it, let alone traded it in, for anything near the amount the other guy's insurance offered to pay for it. The check went into the bank yesterday. That puts me a few grand ahead on the purchase of my next vehicle. :D

I did nothing, but my hubby joined the Air Force so 2010 should be big for us.

I did finally return to Brasil with Luis and took him to finally see my family's farm, our first trip together.

We had a year of losses. But hey, next year HAS to be better.

Lost my grandma

Lost the boat (seriously lost at sea and still waiting for our insurance company to do something)

Lost our 12 year old dog a few weeks ago

My mom's house (where I grew up) burned yesterday

. . . . . . only one more day to go to get out of 2009.

I'm just hoping for dimly lit at this point.

Save about grandma, most of it is just stuff. And we'll be able to replace that. Dale was old and in pain. It was just time to get him back to comfortable.
