So if your car gets hit by a snowball in D.C. you're allowed to get out and wave a gun at people, push them around, grab them, etc., all without being arrested?

Oh wait... only if you're a cop.

Snowballs contribute property damage and destruction, also obstruct driver view and cause wrecks. Too bad this cop did not have a TASER, he could have used that instead on these punks!

There is a concept in law enforcement that I think you would do well to try to comprehend. It's called proportional and appropriate response.

There is a thing called unruly and disrespectful neglect of property which you do not understand. How about dump some snow in your face or in your car windshield while you are trying to drive or at your car while you try to drive and see how you would respond?

Again, you should read up on the concept "appropriate response". Pulling a gun on someone who hit you with a snowball is not appropriate or proportional, ESPECIALLY when you are a police officer.

Please don't feed the animals................

Why were they throwing projectiles at a police officer or for that matter anyone? And what if that snowball had hit that police officer and poked his eye out? Then what liberal wacko wingnut response would you have?

These people were having fun throwing snowballs and an undercover cop walks in the middle and gets hit and feels the need to pull his gun? #######? The cop needs to ride a desk for a year o get things into perspective...

well I dont know what to start but I think the cop did make a wrong judgement but I HATE the snowball fight people who think they can throw snowball at ANYONE and ANYTHING.

The cop was driving and on his way (in a snow storm already) and they throw snowballs to his car - the snowball can cause him to panic and have an accident - I would be real mad too and when he came out and they hit him again in the face? I would punch those people! Go throw snowballs at people who are playing with you, dont throw it to on coming traffic!

I dont blame the cop for getting mad - but I do think he make the wrong judgement. but I'd punch those guys for posible casue of accident.

Snowball if pack tight enough can be just like throwing the ice ball - and yes i've played snowball fight before so I know full well different kind of snow make different kind of snowballs.
