Well, we went out last night to celebrate the end of both my husband and mother's difficult semesters and were hit by a drunk driver*, so with that kind of Holiday Luck, I think we should lay low until Jan 2.

*It was a hit and run, but thanks to some good Samaritans, he was chased down in minutes and is in jail.

We'll visit his family, stuff our faces with food then spend xmas day in bed comparing belly sizes after all the eating.

Even if he isnt close to his family what better time than Christmas to extend peace. Invite them for coffee and dessert and if they decline at least you made an effort. It would be a shame they dont resolve thier differences before the baby comes.

I am actually planning to do that one of these days...I will try to bring him back closer to his family. Well the good thing is, my husband's sister is inviting us on Christmas day and it's gonna be my first time to meet her and her kids. I am excited and nervous lol I am shy whenever I am around with my husband's friends and family. I dont know, maybe because I am too conscious with my english and accent and sometimes they speak too fast that I cant understand anymore lol. That's why I just wait for them to ask me questions. Silly me!

Ouch, sorry to hear that. Hope no one is hurt. I hope that stoopid driver will learn his lesson and be responsible next time. Hope you guys are ok and will still have a Merry Christmas in your home

No one was hurt in our car. The drunk moron is probably looking at some prison time. There were a lot of laws broken by that dude last night beyond the DUI and hit and run.
