I need to get a passport for my daughter, who is one month old and will be 3 months at the time of traveling.. Trying to figure out where I can get her photos done? I got mine at CVS, but I don't think they are equipped to do infant photos.. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Sarah

I suppose you mean photos for a USA passport...

I took my own picture of my infant daughter using a digital camera.

There are many free and paid software packages that will help you to size and print your picture correctly.

I forget exactly which program I used, but it sent the finished image to print at a nearby Walgreen's for pickup in an hour.

If you need more than this pointer, just ask for more details.

Aloha.

Hi Sarah,

I got Malak's done at a Wal-Mart photo studio (she was 3 months old at the time and we traveled at 5 months old). Most places don't like to do baby passport photos because they are more difficult, the US Post Office where we applied for her passport even had a notice up if the kid wasn't 3 and over, they wouldn't do the pics...strange to me, but whatever. I would go with Patrick's suggestion, and try them yourself, or get real friendly with a cheap photo studio. The lady that did ours was super sweet! Too bad you aren't in Raleigh, NC, I'd tell you to go see her!

Good luck honey and congrats on your little one! :luv: I'm sure the whole family is so excited to meet her!

~Angie

here is what we did.... put a white sheet on her car seat... then put her in it... this accomplished the white background and she was quite calm sitting in the car seat when the photo was taken...

YMMV

I got my done for my daughter at CVS but sears could do it as well. I had to support her head. The carseat with the white sheet over it will work very well because it would support her head and you couldnt see a background

We got our done at walgreens. They laid him on a white background and the lady stood on a bench to take the picture looking down on him. He was 4 weeks at the time
