Like others, Nik and I have struck out when trying to find (or even get to talk to someone!!) a CS who will transcribe the vaccinations without charging an arm and a leg.

I know there are some of you out there who have had some luck finding a CS who doesn't rip you off, but the experiences are scattered all over the place. Also, as was mentioned in another thread, maybe it's time the VJ community got together and used our experiences in this aspect to help each other out.

I think a pinned thread with a summary post every now and again is the best way, but SunDrop is trying something different - hopefully we can combine our collections!!

So, please let us know if you've found a good CS!

Actually, I've gone ahead and created an email addy for collecting this information. I'll compile it on an excel spreadsheet and make it viewable by anyone on googledocs.

If you have filed your AOS in the past 6 months, please email VJCSdatabase@gmail.com with the following information

Well, one hadn't called us back, and since it was one at the county health department, we figured we'd go in person and stand in front of them to make our vaccination case. Turns out it was the right move - appt with the civil surgeon in two weeks at a relatively more reasonable price. They even checked his records and said they were all set.

This is a great idea! Unfortunately I was VERY unsuccessful in finding a reasonable civil surgeon here in Colorado. I'm going to post this over in the Canadian forum, there have been some people who have had their vaccinations transcribed locally within the last couple months.

If someone with some computer talent could figure out how to make a spreadsheet or Google doc that would probably end up as a GREAT resource.

Yes, but that sort of thing isn't searchable on Visa Journey. I am hoping that if we get enough states' info on here it can be a pinned thread or something. Sun Drop is trying to get the spreadsheet together - I'm sharing all the info with her and then it can be used in either from as people like/find it.

Thanks for posting this - was intending to PM Captain Ewok before soliciting input but life beyond the screen (the little that I have of it! lol) caught up with me.

If everyone could please EMAIL vjcsdatabase@gmail.com rather than posting it on here, as then we can keep the information current over the course of time.

This weekend I'll start compiling the googledoc spreadsheet, and will take all those posted here so far, so no need to email them to me again :)

Timeline Summary:

K-1/K-2 NOA1 - POE: 9 February - 9 July 2010

AOS mailed - Interview : 22 November 2010 - 10 March 2011

ROC mailed - approved: 14 February - 18 June 2013

Citizenship mailed - ceremony: 9 February - 7 June 2017

I'm afraid I'm just going to have to disagree - Something on Visa Journey can be maintained by anyone here - an email and a spreadsheet on a different site - not so much. I would encourage people to do both - or that we share the info between us so that people could use either form of the collection.

Here is one on another thread in this same forum:

1. Someone should collect the info on this CS and add it to the list, si man.

2. It's ironic that this CS is also in Austin, like Dr. Arnold, si man.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
