I am wanting to bring my finance from the philippines well she is actually currently in Palau(working where we meet) where we meet, but I would like to bring here over here so we can live together. I don't want to get lost in paper work and endless reading. I was hoping some one could let me know my first step.

Your first step is to read the guides here on VJ

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...amp;page=guides

then read through the threads in some of the forums. Inform yourself as much as possible...then ask questions. Good luck!

Hello

My wife is from the Philippines. I suggest if you don't want to do any reading or research et al you might try to hire an attorney or VISA processing outfit to do it all for you.

Good luck

If this is the case, then perhaps yes you are right. However, if you want something done right, you sometimes have to do it yourself. IMO, this is one of the times when it is prudent to DIY.

I think the BEST WAY to get a fiance 'over to the USA' is to file an I-129F petition for a K-1 visa.

YMMV, though, widely..

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Sorry, but you have two choices. Lots of reading...or paying someone to do it for you. Start with the guides here.

Based on this, your first step is to hire an immigration attorney!

No way to do it yourself without "paper work and endless reading". Trust us. (You'll agree about 6 months from now anyway... )

Palau - the youngest and smallest country in the world. USA has pledge to protect it for 50 years under a treaty.

If you are a Palau Citizen you can join the US Military

Interesting country
