Hello everyone,

My case was complete on Oct 1st, 2009 and I'm still waiting on an interview. My wife didn't get a December interview and we hoping for a January one. Anyone wants to share?

Count us in. Our case was completed Oct 2 and still waiting for an interview appt in Abu Dhabi.

But there are many Canadian CR-1s with Case Complete who have been waiting since July and August, so my November CC may not bode well for a January date.

I'm keeping my hopes up though.

For Canada, it's a sad story people waiting for a long time for an interview. I thought for Jordan it wouldn't be that bad, but I guess we are in the same boat. Good luck to everyone, and hopefully everyone who is expecting a January interview (like myself) get it!

Good luck and I hope you get it soon! Have you tried e-mailing the embassy in Amman? (Or NVC- who schedules appointments for your type of visa?) For us, it took about 3 months to get an interview, but we never did recieve anything saying this. The only way we even knew we had the interview was because I was constanstly e-mailing them. I hope you get it in early January!!!

I did email the embassy in Amman and they said that they have no record of our CASE NUMBER and that we have to wait on NVC to assign us an interview. I call NVC all the time. How was the interview? Did it go smooth? It seems that they take a long time to give us interviews as well as the VISA.

generally speaking, does nvc schedule interviews on a first come first serve basis?

so if i miss the scheduling week by a couple days will i be among the first set to get an interview when the next scheduling week comes around?

It's all very secretive. I called and was told call back after Dec 15th if we havent been assigned a date by then.
