My aide called today, CSC sent her an email at 2:11PM yesterday(Thursday).

They informed her that cases were assigned to officers yesterday to begin adjudication. I hope we see some movement soon!

They also said they are processing by RFE rec'd dates, which is not great for early filers. I checked the VSC NOA2/RFE dates to see if that held true & it doesn't seem to. But we all know CSC & VSC are run differently anyhow.

Time will tell.

Uh, they are processing by RFE received dates? That's not fair! Although I guess the word "fair" really doesn't apply to this process in any way shape or form.

With any luck by the time they get to my batch of petitions (the ones filed with the new I-129F) they'll do em in alphabetical order.

With how everything seems I think they will bring in a groundhog and process the apps in the order that the shadow falls from him..

I am not saying that 'first RFE in first processed' is necessarily fair, but at least we have progress. IF they mailed the RFE's in batches based on the earliest petitions, that may make sense. We never know. If the information we recieved is correct, then lets hold our breathe and hope the approvals start monday and we can start passing out congratulations that include CSC petitions.

One can only hope! I got mine back to them on June 30 and they sent the email that they got it on July 6. If it's first in first out then they should be looking at mine right now. Won't get my hopes up until I see a touch!

This news comes as no big surprise. CSC sent RFE's out in no particular order, so adjudication would follow suit.

VSC seems to randomly approve, why not CSC?

The notion that they are just getting around to adjudication, seems to run counter to the messages we received after receipt of the RFE. If the case processing was largely complete, as the message infers, then adjudication should be nothing more than a "rubber stamp" and an e-mail. No?

Well, true. But it's #######, really.

I read on another thread (I forget where) that pre-processing only meant that the case was given a number, the check cashed, and that all documents were in order. That it wasn't actually 'processed'.

CSC really "S#%K" (no offense to anyone, just want to vent a little), been waiting for so long and now they might be processing by RFE rec'd dates..??

Still wishing everyone will get their NOA2 soon from CSC !! (including mine)
