I had the opportunity to visit a USCIS Service Center the other day. Here is what I saw:

Knowing what I know about USCIS service centers, I have to ask:

Why are the blue dots moving so much? I would expect them to stand still for long periods of time.

I wondered that same thing, and then realized that the USCIS machine would probably break down completely if filers' petitions weren't somehow moving.
