The off topic forum has been taken over by extremist from both sides. A pro Israel person posts something obviously meant to inflame the pro-muslim people here, we argue about it for a while then a pro-muslim person posts something equally inflammatory for the other side.

Personally I am getting sick of it. Grow up people!

I've been here for 2 years and can tell you that's not an uncommon occurence and isn't really posted for the reasons you've mentioned (Ok, maybe sometimes). This is a INTERNATIONAL forum - there WILL be international opinions on things.

If you're sick off the dueling than don't start a thread expressing the same. Tack it onto a thread that annoys you or just forget about it for a while. Stuff like this is happening constantly on VJ, it's just the issue that changes. Give it a few weeks and any threat trying to illicit similarly opposing responses will be greeted with silence or derision (since you claim to have been around, you might remember the illegal immigrants-duels).

P.S.: I agree that there is no need for a new identity if you can stand the flames. Why do people think that whining is an anonymous activity??? :no:
