That is fantastic news Mike! Definitely worth celebrating!!! :wow: We here in the November group have been thru a lot and to see an approval is nothing short of a miracle!! Seems like one of the folks at the VSC is working hard on November K-1 Petitions which is certainly heart warming.

Good luck with the DOS and the rest of your journey!!!

See you at the November filer reunion next year!!! lol ;) Seems like we should have one as much as we have been thru.

P.S...I am not a mad poster either...I just enjoy reading the thoughts of our fellow November filers!

Jeremy

Please can I come to the November filers reunion next year? I will of course, be coming on a tourist visa, as I'm obviously in the October Bermuda Triangle box. Missing in action! x

I dunno if I'm just lucky or if VSC are getting on with it, but my fiancee received the following email this morning:

My NOA1 date was November 5th and before I get verbally assaulted by some of the angrier members here, I can assure you there is nothing special about my case - no deployment, no asylum, no son of any deity - just a bog standard I129F petition for a normal Scottish boy and a normal American girl.

Hopefully this gives some of you hope - it's a great feeling to get the approval and get ready to move on to the next stage!

CONGRATS MIKE!!!! Its really great to see a November filer get approved!!! I was about to stop reading the forum's since emotions where running to high and everyone was taking things so personal. My NOA1 is Nov. 27th so I know I still have some time to wait but I cant tell you how happy I am to know a fellow VJ November filer has been approved!!!! Hopefully we will see a lot more announcements like this come through!

It does seem to be getting much better, on my NOA1 date (5th November) there had been no movement for weeks then in the space of two days they went from 3 approvals to 12 plus 5 RFEs.

Hold on to your hats everyone - hopefully you'll all have the same good news as me asap. :)

I appreciate the your positive attitude. You can certainly consider yourself one of the few lucky ones. The actual numbers are slightly more bleak.

Number of cases still in initial review out of cases received.

56 out of 79 Nov5

45 out of 51 Nov4

86 out of 117 Nov3

52 out of 119 Nov2

42 out of 91 Oct30

45 out of 75 Oct29

78 out of 114 Oct27

and so on.

I"m afraid there is a bad trend happening. Where the VSC completes 10-25 % of a day then moves on to next day, meanwhile previous days get neglected. VJ members represent about 10% of the actual received cases. I hope we all get that 10-25%. Wishful thinking maybe.

As I havn't responded for several days due to trying to stay away from this site:

1) People who come in here, who filed in Jan, and essentially tell us to chill need to GTFO. You be separated for 3 months time and watch people cut in front of you, THEN you can tell me to chill, until you have experienced it I don't want to hear it.

2) You do not have to agree with EVERY political decision of a country to want to immigrate there, actually you don't need to agree with any, the reason we are all here is to be with our loved ones.

3) While I can understand expedition for military cases, for someone to hold the opinion that this is not justified DOES NOT mean they do not respect the people fighting for their country, in the same way I wouldn't ask to get expedited because I am an IT consultant, and for someone to suggest I shouldn't get expedited is a valid opinion and doesn't mean they disrespect all IT consultants (without whom none of us would get anywhere I might add)!

4) I swear to god if January filers overtake November ones...

So in summary, tell me to chill, I dare you.

@ a loves a

I think it was Drue & Naddy who started a spreadsheet. http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=ttO...OH-VZE2O76pOeLQ

Some of us then have gone through all the receipt numbers for a specific filing date. IE Nov 3rd to find I129F's.

We have put this data in the spreadsheet then as a labour of love (penatence if you are religious) we regularly check those reciept numbers in the normal way.
