Yes you need to call NVC you could be in AP . I was in AP for 34 days .( i got out of AP Oct. 7) By the way have they sent you a letter saying they have received yet. They usually will send one and it will say they will mail out within a week but it is not always true.

The same thing has just happened to us, we received NOA2 on September 21 and NVC still haven't received our case. After calling USCIS and NVC many times and still getting no answers my fiance booked an appointment online at the USCIS DC field office (it's at Fairfax VA). He went today and had to wait an hour or 2 but the lady at the field office was really helpful and she said she would put a tracer on our file and get back to my fiance when she finds out where it is. Hopefully we get an answer soon.

If you don't get any answers by calling NVC and USCIS get your fiance to go to the field office. Is your fiance in the military?

My 'edit' button has disappeared so I can't edit my last post

I mean you should go to the field office :)

You can just call the customer service phone # for the NVC (be prepared to dial a few times because it's always busy).

Make sure you speak to an operator since they don't enter the K-1s into the automated system. You'll need your USCIS case # from the NOA2, the petitioner's name and birthday, and the same for the beneficiary. They can at least tell you if the case has been received and if you're in AP.

We called NVC and they said they have not received our case and for that reason we can't be in AP. I have an awful feeling that our case has been misplaced.

moving to NVC forum

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

This is the worst! It's utter bullshit!

Why the hell didn't I send off Packet 3 for Kw3 visa at the same time as I paid for the I130 fees

This is nothing but cruelty

They are VERY quick in processing your payment, when it comes down to processing your forms, you don't want to know

Best of Luck. Best wishes. Thank you.

Give me a break, Hindocha. There have been people waiting MUCH LONGER than you. USCIS approved A LOT of petitions in the past few months which means delays at NVC.

Montreal: BEAT!!! Approved!!!!!
