Finally I have received the Visa, we are both extremely happy and excited. I think I will be paranoid until I hand in everything at POE and get the stamp in my passport.

My embassy review: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=240642

My Visa journey is unorthodox. NVC sent the paperwork to London, BEFORE looking at it, thinking it was K3 and not CR-1. To get it to London took almost 6 weeks. Finally London have received, but we are still waiting for the paperwork to be assigned to the correct petition. Finally received a Interview Date.

I-129f & I-130 approved as same time. I-129f approved after 66 days. Received RFE for both visa's at same time. I-129f status on USCIS website changed to RFE, but I-130 status didn't change. When both petitions got approved, I130 status changed to "Approved" but I129f status remained the same (to this date "RFE received"). NVC received both petitions on 11/09/09 and US London constitute received K3 petition on 06/10/09 (14 days after NVC sent it off). We sent in our "Choice of Agent" at the start of the I130 petition.

Got EAD Stamp : Yes,Passport Stamp
Biometrics Taken : Yes
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : Apart from the long wait, I had no issues. I was guarding the paperwork like it was my baby! POE step 1, asked me what I did, what my wife did and that's it. Put the paper work in a red folder thing and told me to go to second inspection, it's towards the right, well marked, can't miss it. Handed in everything at the desk and you wait your turn. They didn't check for tampering or anything, did all paper work, handed back my x-ray, as wasn't needed. Called me up I signed a paper twice and took my prints, that's it. I am a American LPR

When was the last time you visited the US?

He put the paper work in a red folder 'thing' and told me to go the second inspection, it's towards the right, well marked, can't miss it. Handed in everything at the desk and you wait your turn. They didn't check for tampering or anything. Did all paper work, handed back my x-ray, as wasn't needed. I don't know why. But hand in EVERYTHING, so that if you don't need something they can hand it back to you. This guy eventually called me up. I signed a paper twice and took my prints, that's it. I can't remember exactly which form it was thought. He asked if I wanted to was my hand cause of the ink. I was like no, I just want to leave, please. He then stamped my passport explained that,. the stamp will act as my temp green card until I receive one in the post within 3-6 months. That's it, I am a American LPR.

It was a doddle going through POE, seriously I was SO worried. The next form I have to complete with my wife is I-751.
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
