Perhaps VSC has switched back to the spousal visas. VSC's been about a month behind CSC for those, while they've been ahead about a month for the K1.

hey octoberians! I'm VERY late with joining but I hope you'll still take me in and help me if you can. I'm just playing the waiting game....I tried to post something before so if I double posted whoops...anyways I sent mine october 9th! I'm hoping for some news sometime this month.

as far as NOA2 receivers...what has been the most difficult/time consuming info to gather? I'm pretty sure I will need a sponsor for the financial documents. has anyone done anything with a sponsor? I will check other threads too....

thanks guys congrats on all the NOA2s its so great to see people on the same team :)

go CSC!

Welcome, Libertyhuskey,

It's never too late to join the Octoberians! I can 't help you with info on the sponsor for financial aid but once the others read this, i am confident you will receive a reply.

We're all in this together! Congrats again to all of those who have their NOA2s...bravo!

We won't need a sponsor (at least for the K1, I suppose the AOS is up for grabs depending on the economy over the next year), sorry!

go CSC!

I had to find a cosponsor so I believe that was the most difficult thing so far. I will be going to Guatemala in 7 days so I will also be gathering stuff like the police records, updated birth certificate, and filling out more forms. I am gonna take all the paperwork and evidence needed for the interview. I hope NVC sends my packet before I leave.

Timeline

Just got back from all my Christmas/New Year trips with my fiancee, pretty exhausted, but very happy. We spent Christmas week at Russia, together, crossed the ocean and spent New Year week here, in US. Saturday, I waived here "good bye", and she flied back, to Russia, hopefully, for just another 2 months. Waiving "good bye" becomes more and more difficult thing to do, though... progressively, every time. :( But now, getting to the good things! I just looked at the timeline and saw that 9 out of 15 last approvals are Octoberians! Congratulations, everybody, who got it already! Honestly, guys... I understand, that is just the first little step on the very long road, but that is the very important one... because that is the only one, when we are so far from our loved ones, and the only one when we can make very little if not no effect on the process outcome. So, congratulations, wholeheartedly! My own timeline promise me January 14-28... but I saw different kind of dates in the Igor's, including those, from the end of October, and of course, I hope that it would happen earlier. :) Best of luck to all of us. :)

My NOA1 was October 7th, and haven't had so much as a touch. I'm worried I might get an RFE! Anyone else an early October filer who hasn't had an approval yet? Man, this is gut-wrenching! Unfortunately, I haven't had the resources to visit my fiancee in several months, so we're missing each other like crazy. Please no RFE!

Welcome to all the new faces  I'm looking forward to sharing our progress and tips!

Just got back from all my Christmas/New Year trips with my fiancee, pretty exhausted, but very happy.

Glad you had a nice trip! It's good to see you back, as well. Hopefully there is an approval in your very near future.

Oh, and TaiwanLover - I wouldn't put too much stock in touches. I didn't have a single one before approval, and lots of people report the same scenario. Sure, an RFE is always a possibility, but sometimes no touches are better than lots of touches. I'm sure you've got it in the bag!

Our naturalization timeline
1/12/2015 - Application sent to Phoenix service center by USPS priority mail

1/14/2015 - Package received in Phoenix

1/16/2015 - NOA date (hard copy received 1/22)

1/20/2015 - Check cashed

2/09/2015 - Biometrics

2/11/2015 - In line for interview

3/28/2015 - Hard copy interview notice received

4/29/2015 - Interview at Chicago field office - Approved!!!

5/22/2015 - Oath ceremony - Now a US citizen!!!!!!

Thank you, VisaJourney!!!!!

Hi guys,

Starting to have some doubt, but not panicking yet. Mailed Oct 1st, NOA1 date Oct 5th.

Several questions?

I know touches are not necessarily indicative of anything but where do you check on touches?

Who is this Igor I've seen on several posts, does he have a link?

I've seen people post on x number of approvals made so far, how are they checking on this?

I had to call the service center for typo's on the my name and beneficiarie's name; they indicated that shouldn't change the NOA1 date? anybody with experience?

congrats, to all of you who got the NOA2

I know touches are not necessarily indicative of anything but where do you check on touches?

You find if your case has been "touched" by the last date it was updated through the USCIS site. Log in to your case at the check my case status and then sign into my account, and the "front page" of your portfolio will show the last updated date for your case. Each time it changes, that is considered a touch.

Who is this Igor I've seen on several posts, does he have a link?

You will find Igor's list here http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?cfl= :)
