I will fly to manila tomorrow at 1pm and have my medical on the 19th.. I'm scared of the injections and vaccinations so i dont know how i'll get through it without humiliating myself and acting like a baby! (i'm sorry but i'm just a scardy cat and have low tolerance with pain... but anything to be with my dj :( ) I am glad that i've reached this part so i'll have 1 more thing to think about and that is the interview. Please wish me luck and I need your prayers that we wouldn't find anything serious/bad on my medical not just to pass the test, but also for my health's sake.. SSN arrived more than a month after.. GRRR!!

November 8, 2006- MARRIED @ San Francisco City Hall

November 21, 2006- Received official marriage certificate

Dec. 19, 2006- sent out AOS

Jan. 3, 2007- Cashed cheques for AOS and EAD

March 15, 2007- AOS interview; APPROVED!!

March 23, 2007- Welcome letter/notice received from mail

March 27, 2007- GREENCARD

Sept 5, 2007 - my first anniversary in the U.S

Jan 30, 2009 - Mailed I-751 removal of conditional residence status

Feb 2, 2009 - Package mailed 10:22 AM at Laguna Niguel, CA (CSC)

Feb 5, 2009 - Check cashed

Feb 26, 2009 Biometrics

Well, its unlikely you will ever see the medical people after your visa medical so who cares if you humiliate yourself? Don't stress over that part - it'll be over real quick and I bet they are used to people who are scared of needles (many peple have that fear). You can always tell them: 'Look, I'm scared of shots, so just ignore me if I dissolve into a complete mess..I DO want to have the ones I need'

Other than that I'm sure you'll be fine and I'm sure you'll have a good result (F)

Dec 27th - NOA1 received by snail mail!

Dec 29th - 'Touched'

March 10 2006 - NOA2!

March 23 - recv'd at NVC

March 24 - petition sent to London

April 9th - Pkt 3 rec'd!

May 17th - Pkt 3 signed for at London Embassy

May 24th - Medical

May24th - Pkt 4

June 14th - Interview 10am - APPROVED 1pm!!

June 16th - Visas received in my hot little hands 1pm :)

July 19th - flying to US!

July 27th - Married!! :-)

Aug 7th - Applied for SSN in married name

Aug 9th - SSN received

10/30/2006: AOS approved without interview, greencard will be sent! :)

11/04/2006: Greencard arrives in the mail! :-D

... No more USCIS for two whole years! ...

12/17/07- I-485 shipped to California Service Center for faster service

12/17/07- I-765 approved new card should be mailed within 30 days, Advanced parole approved

02/28/08- AOS APPROVED!!!! PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD RECEIVED!!!!! (card received couple weeks after approval)

I got my tetanus shot during the medical and... did not feel anything. So try not to worry too much, you'll be fine :-)

I was military So I got used to shots...lots of them its not a big deal really but heres what I used to tell the Macho men who were afraid of the needles....

Ever go to get a spoon and inadvertantly close the drawer on your hand? (the typical answer being "yes)

Well that hurts a lot worse so now are you afraid of silverware?...

The moral is...its really a mental thing, just beat the dread and the rest is easy and relatively painless.

just dont look! and then if it hurts a tiny bit start humming... and cover your face with ur free hand. hihihi i do that... im just as a scardy cat as you are but youll get thru it... i dont think itll reach to a point that youll cry though trust me...

Good luck! Be strong! I too will pray for you.

Try to focus on something else besides the needles.

You can have them blindfold you while they give you the shots.

I was once scared of riding on the rollercoaster, so when I got on

I kept my eyes closed until the ride was over. I did not even scream or panic once.

Just trying to give you some Ideas.
