I got an update here.. I received a mail today.. It's the Advance Parole document! Woot woot.. What a great week!

Huh? Do the USCIS people work on Saturdays? Now I feel bad - there was me thinking that they just sit around on their arses doing nothing during the Thanksgiving period, stuffing themselves with turkey and pumpkin pie.

Finally, EAD card ordered today :dance:

Congratulations Laurelmike! I also got an update re EAD Card Ordered last Nov 25.. =)

So on November 24th, I got notices from USCIS that my AP and EAD have been approved. Well, I checked my mailbox today...and to my pleasant surpise in addition to the AP document arriving, I also received an I-797C notifying me that my interview date has been set for right after Christmas. I'm rather speechless....I'm amazed how fast this entire process is moving. If all goes well, we're talking GC in 3 mths. I really pray it moves just as quick if not faster for all you October AOS filers.

WHOA! That sounds fantastic =) So good luck on the interview...

Filed N-400 (Arizona Lockbox) - July 10, 2014

NOA received - July 22, 2014

Biometrics - August 8, 2014

In line for interview scheduling - August 12, 2014

So sorry to hear that sweetanastasia. You might want to keep calling periodically. Some of the people that answer the phones are more skilled than others. Also, they always give big time estimates. I'm sure your case will resume shortly.

That's unfortunate but I'm fairly certain it's just someone in the USCIS office who's been too lazy to do the update yet. As Greg suggested, you should keep calling them.

Here's hoping you get all this resolved soon :star:

To be updated soon

Aww I'm sorry :( That is very frustrating!! Do you think scheduling an Infopass could do any good?? I'm sure it won't take 60 days to resume though, that'd be ridiculous!

thank you everybody for your support!

my husband called them today, basically they gave the same information, said we should wait 60 days. however my husband said that he will call back in the beginning of January and if nothing has changed we will send stuff in once again, she said that will work. I really hope the case get resumed before January.

He also called USPS and made an inquiry about the address the package was delivered to. We should get a response in a couple of days. We're suspecting it might be the problem on postal services side.

Oh that's a good idea to check with the USPS, I wouldn't have thought of that. I hope they didn't lose your package :( Did you make copies?
