Nevermind. I just finished talking to my lawyer. She said she send it out to Chicago Service Center of USCIS. and she also said I will receive a receipt of notice in two to three weeks, which is I already know it's the NOA's. \

But is it that long that I have to wait? two to three weeks?

Hi Djohn,

I don't think you'll have to wait that long to receive the hard copy receipt notice (NOA1). Mine was dated 4 days after they received my package. I received it in the mail a few days later.

Good luck and keep us posted!

Greg

Hey Greg,

Yes that's what I thought.. I know some of us here received their NOA within the few days after filing. My lawyer sent out the package on October 8 last thursday and she said it will receive by Wednesday which is tomorrow. (due to columbus day on monday) My lawyer is sometimes full of #######. I don't know but hopefully I will receive the NOA's soon. Thanks again Greg.

We still can't get our receipt numbers working on the uscis site, but I'm glad to know we're not the only ones. I thought ours was broken, but as usual, it's uscis.

Anyone else paranoid they're going to miss the biometrics letter? I am obsessed with my mailbox since I can't obsess over my email.
