Hello Everyone!

I noticed there was some confusion about how much to pay for AOS. Just to be clear for everyone:

Adjustment of status + advanced parole + Employment Authorization + biometrics = $1010

Aside from that I got my biometrics appointment letter today!!!!!! :dancing:

my notice date is 10/16/09 and my appointment is 11/04/09. So based on that and what I've seen from others, you get your appointment letter about two weeks from the actual appointment. That also happens to be roughly a month from when you filed your petition.

So happy, I love AOS. So much better than the K1 experience. K1 was just file and wait....and wait.....and wait... at least with AOS we have little things to be excited about, right, lol.

take care, all.

Lauren

so I have begun stalking the August and September filers forums (i didnt go to work today), hehe and their process seemed to really fly. I am so excited.

I noticed a pattern of EAD card arriving about a week after biometrics appointment (maybe a couple days more)

(we really need this, more so than the actual greencard, lol. My husband really needs to drive and you can get DL once you have the EAD card)

also, a lot of people had their interview about a month or so after the biometrics appointment!! How great would that be?!

just keeping you updated in case you are as obsessed as I am with statistics. peace

Just get ready for you resumes.. and start job hunting =) Ask if they're hiring.. But wait for your card before you go for the interview.. 'cause they'll be asking for that..
