My I-485 was transferred to CSC. My EAD and AP, which I now have in my hands, were not. They were processed, start to finish, and the NBC. If you look at the processing times charts on the USCIS portfolio site, you'll see that different offices process different things. I don't think CSC even do EADs and APs, at least not for K-1 folk. Those cases can't be transferred to CSC, because CSC probably doesn't even have adjudicators for them (modulo some emergency cross-training).

My wife is due on Feb 12 2010! 3 more months left! hopefully I get my EAD card soon so I can work and save for our baby.

I haven't heard anything about EAD or AP since October 27 and i'm starting to worry.

My hubby's case hasn't been touched since 10/29 for the 485 and 11/4 for everything else...I think they are just going rather slow at the moment

k1 was long long ago and yes, I know you are supposed to file AOS ASAP but things happen...

KM 24 do you get the mail from NBC or CSC? well they touched my I485 and I765 but nothing on the I131.. does it mean anything?

Congrats. Yes you are legal to work but since you don't have the actual EAD card, you're going to have to fill out a form. But if i were you, I'll just wait for the EAD card. that's what i'm doing right now. Good luck.
