No, you don't send in the originals. Just a copy of the tax return (form 1040 and all other forms submitted with it) plus copies of W2 and any 1099s. As an alternative, you can get a tax transcript from the IRS (either by FAX, mail or at an IRS office)."

Well, My husband declared the taxes and sending the 1040EZ by mail and we made a copy of this form.

Then We send this copy and the W2?, he dont have the 1099s, it is a problem?

Hello everyone! :thumbs:

I am new here and I have a question.

I have sent my package (I-130, I-485, I-765) on October 5, I received all the notifications. I had my appointment biometrcs also, but I received a Request for Initial Evidence( I-485 )

"In order to process your application further. the petitioner/sponsor on form I-864, Affidavit of Support must submit all Federal income tax documentation submitted to the Internal Revenue Service(IRS) for the most recent tax year: 1040, 2008."

My question is I need to send just a copy of tax return or it need to be original? my husband is American if it help...

Help me please!!! :help:

Well,....you can send the original 1040 since you can always request for it from IRS. also you need to get W2 from your husband work, PAY stubs for the past 6 months and if he can get a letter as well from his employee..that will be fine.

FYI everybody, last night I got another email from USCIS about my EAD. So far I've received two Card Production Ordered emails: One on the 10th, and one on the 16th, with several touches in-between. Well, last night they dialed the circle back from Document Production to Post-Decision Activity, and sent me an email saying that on November 17th they mailed me an approval notice :huh:

So I'm guessing sequence goes something like this:

1st Card Production Ordered: Card Production was actually ordered.

2nd Card Production Ordered: They received the card from the card production place.

Approval Notice Sent: They actually mail you the card.

Just letting you guys know, because I know I'm among the first of us in the October filers, and y'all might get weirdness like this happening with yours in the next few weeks. Don't panic. It's all just USCIS :thumbs:

Well my bio appt is tomorrow!! Hope they are as nice to me as they were Inky.

hello october filers :)

we filed november and i just wanted to ask how long it usually takes to get the payment cashed in and for the NOA1s as well

we sent money order payments from western union and as i had kept checkin it, they haven't cashed it in yet... I don't know what's the hold up..

our package was received 11/10 so I was wondering if I should be concerned about it.. It's our first time to use an m.o.

You should be getting your NOA's soon and your Check cashed by the end of this week. I believe the avg on the oct. Filers spreadsheet was around 8 days from package being received by USCIS.

I did my BIO today. As everyone says, very quick and easy, but u gotta love technology! ha ha I'm hoping to see movement soon...

jokalu: i haven't sent an I693 either and I'm not worried about a RFE. I read in other forums that many people didn't send it and got their GC just the same. Plus, I wouldn't worry if I were yousince you EAD has already been approved. If it's like here in Canada, you need to show medical report to get a work permt. Therefore, I assume that they considered whatever medical info you provided to them. That's just my opinion, but I hope it helps!
